Top 10 Fastest 0-60 mph Cars of 2025

From the Rimac Nevera to the Tesla Roadster, here are the production cars that hit 60 mph in under 2 seconds.

The 0-60 mph (or 0-100 km/h) sprint is the most quoted performance number in the world. In 2025, electric drivetrains have rewritten the leaderboard — sub-two-second cars are no longer concept-car fantasy.

The 1.X-second club

Three production cars now claim 0-60 in under 2 seconds: the Rimac Nevera, the Tesla Model S Plaid with the upcoming Track Pack, and the next-gen Tesla Roadster (when it finally arrives). All three are electric — no surprise. Instant torque, four-wheel drive, and zero shift losses make EVs the dominant force off the line.

Why ICE still matters

Combustion hypercars like the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport and Ferrari SF90 Stradale still punch in the low 2-second range, and they extend that advantage at higher speeds where EVs run out of breath. A Plaid will eat a Chiron to 60 mph; the Chiron will catch back up by 200 mph.
