What counts as a fast 0-60 time?
Under 3 seconds is hypercar territory — Bugatti Chiron, Rimac Nevera, Tesla Model S Plaid. 3 to 4 seconds covers supercars and the fastest electric sedans. 4 to 6 seconds is quick daily performance — think Porsche 911 Carrera, BMW M3, Audi RS3. 6 to 8 seconds is average for a modern petrol car, and anything over 8 seconds is normal for economy vehicles.
Carspeed publishes both 0-60 mph and 0-100 km/h on every car and matchup page. 60 mph is about 96.6 km/h, so 0-60 mph is usually 0.2–0.3 seconds quicker than 0-100 km/h for the same car.
